But then gotta trek over to Kew tomorrow to play football.. Mission!

bit of dull weekend really but need a chilled out one
Heather (who some of you have met from Yeovil) is having her 40th tomorrow. She has hired a double decker bus to leave her pub early afternoon and to do a tour of all the local country hostelries and there's some lovely ones nearby. Its then back to the pub to get ready and then a band starts for the evening with a curry buffet. Not looking forward to the drive back sunday morning.
What shall i drink you real ale experts as i dont want a day out on the lager and i want to try and pace myself as its going to be a long day.
They do a nice pint of Wadworth 6x in there.
Oh shit, forgot I'm on call as from today! Boooooooooooooooooooooooooh!
When you're all out having a nice time, think of me having to answer any emergency call within 20 minutes!
Seeing a bird tonight so am hoping I'll be in bed before that!!
Worked just shy of 50hrs since Monday, and had a half day for Walsall on Tuesday, so nothing more is on the cards other than a few quiet family beers tonight. Perhaps these filandering footballers should be made to work 10hr days to keep them out of mischief as i am struggling to raise a smile.
Friday night:- was supposed to be on a date but got blown out so having a quiet one, may head to Bluewater or Lakeside for some much needed retail therapy...
Saturday:- 8/9am: 40 mile bike ride, 1pm: having another view of the house I've just bought in Welling, 2pm: Off to WHL for the late Spurs/Villa ko, 8pm-ish: in Greenwich, moaning about another home defeat...
Sunday:- 9am: Best part of the entire week(end)...I become Super Dad when the ex-wife drops off my daughter and I dont have to give her back until 7pm Monday night :-)
for eg. my usual weekend would be go out get drunk friday, go watch football(mate or charlton) during day and round 2 saturday night
Sunday recover, play the odd football match when can be bothered lol then dinner and bit of snooker
so be nice to do something different, looking forward to it!
In terms of Saturday, it's another mate's birthday so a combination of a house party and then clubbing in the evening. I woke up with "Beckie"s number written on my arm after an eventful night out the other day, so I might call her to meet up tomorrow/ invite her to the house party.
Has the makings of an excellent weekend! Hopefully a Charlton win to put the icing on the cake.
No .......jus send them to places like a wet night at Walsall, make them sit in the rain and watch.
And then get stuck on the M6 in traffic, getting home at 2am.
Snap! Kill two birds with one stone eh Kimbo!
Have you been asked to fix the banking crisis all on your own? ;-)
