  • Aaargh! My eyes are glued to this b****y screen. Haven't I got work to do?
  • [cite]Posted By: Red5[/cite]If Chrissy Powell becomes our new manager I am going to go upstairs and have the customary (after-sex) cigarette in bed, ah! And I don't even smoke FFS!!

lmao! I think everybody will join you (but not JOIN you) if you catch my drift.
  • As i said in a previous thread, we could be in for a pleasant surprise.

can something hurray up and happen pls as I REALLY have to do some work !
  • [cite]Posted By: Vinnie V.[/cite]I loved his fist punching at the end of games[/u], watching him having a laugh with the players during warm-up - the guy clearly had the respect of both players and fans for the way he conducted himself and the success we've had at the club while he was there.

I almost feel like i've been cheated on.

It's bad enough the thought of him with another club but to think about him fist punching in and out of their tunnel turns your stomach.

I'm sitting in a library with goosebumps down my neck thinking of the legend that is Sir Chris Powell. Hes the type of bloke that makes you smile! If he becomes manager I would definately be buying my half season ticket, and renewing next season. Never wanted to watch under Parkinson, not because i'm not a "true fan" but the amount of negativity and bad atmosphere around the ground made me get frustrated too!
IF and its a big IF Sir Chris comes back, the Valley will be rocking, might get 20k+ for our next home game and I can imagine 'One Chrissy Powell, theres only one Chrissey Powell'. I should stop typing....

Remind me not have any of you alongside me in a crises : - )

I blame Princess Diana. What happened to the British stiff upper lip and taking it like a man?

Quite exciting though isn't it. I may have to rearrange my cardies to distract myself.

And to the Evening Standard, that rag of a so called NEWS paper that is not even fit to be used to wipe one's neither regions, you can f*** right now. You will never be forgiven for your "Chris Who?" headline (well not by me anyway).
  • Doesn't mean they wont make an announcement, its probably to late for any manager coming in to take the game on sat.
  • What else was he going to say though?

"I won't be in charge because we're announcing a new manager later..."

And also even if Powell or anyone gets announced in the next 24 hours that's not really much time to take over. I think whoever comes in will be in the stands at the weekend and not on the bench.
