Thought there was a young Ansah somewhere but not here, checking on wiki his son Zak plays for Arsenal.[cite]Posted By: Swisdom[/cite][cite]Posted By: Rothko[/cite]Andy Ansah is on Twitter saying he's had news that made him want to sign
they were mates from their Southend days
Ansah's son is at our academy I think
I wonder if he'll be joining in some capacity too.....to display his tekkers0 -
[cite]Posted By: incorruptible addick[/cite]Can I be the first to suggest that if he gets us promoted, he is immediately elevated to the peerage as Lord Powell of the Covered End?
Or if he can avoids the dreaded play-offs and get us up automatically, perhaps even beatification at St Chrissy?
Sod that. name the east stand after him.0 -

if this happened they'd build him a statue next to Sam's !!!0 -

[cite]Posted By: PaulCAFC[/cite]I would probably prefer to see Garry Johnson take the job. He has managerial experience at this level and has done reasonably well with the available resources - not sure what happened at Peterborough. He is a 'no nonsense' manager and won't be the 'friend' of the players which Parky was and I feel Chris Powell would be - he's a nice bloke. We cannot afford not to be promoted this season - thats the bottom line. I actually thought that we now had money to attrract the right manager, but maybe not. Why would the likes of Howe prefer to stay at Bournemouth?
Chris Powell is NOT a softy - he wouldn't have been accepted and respected as Chairman of PFA if he was weak
I suspect we CAN afford another season in div 3 with new owners IF that was the case. They are not stupid - no-one can be sure of promotion.0 -
Just getting goosebumps about it all. Really hope we all don't get let down :-(0

Jamie
That is exactly why he should be boss, it unites us all in the same feel good factor, feeling good has the habit of rubbing off on everything around it.
He hasnt been hiding away doing nothing he is a guy who seems to be very intellegent, I have asked about today and from what i hear he is a highly rated and very impressive coach.
the one thing we all agree is that our players need coaching good coaching, the technique at times has been abysmal.
Chris Powell is about to get the good times back
Amen to that
Bring Back Chris0 -
