Mrs Len had to call the RAC out today as her car wouldn't start and she feared it would be a new starter motor as there was an unhealthy clicking noise when she tried to turn the engine over.
Anyway it transpires after much testing that it was a battery problem which the RAC man supplied and fitted. He also took the time and trouble not to lose the radio code as she wasn't sure whether or not she still had it.
It is a welcome change to experience "proper" customer service and it transpired that the RAC bloke is an Addick, season ticket holder and goes to about half the away games. He sits in the Covered End with his two sons. Mrs Len mentioned that I've attended the odd match over the years too.
Anyway, if by chance, he is a poster on here I'd just like to say thanks very much for a truly professional job.

Just be thankful the RAC man wasn't a spanner - he would have pissed in your petrol tank and stolen your hubcaps!0
