Montem (a former money-raising practice for the benefit of the senior college at Etonschool, whereby pupils dressed up in fancydress and walked to a hill near Slough and asked for donations from anyone they sawon the way there………a case of the rich taking from the less well off for their own ends…..how times haven’t changed)
