How To Dispose Of Dead Birds

edited March 2010 in Not Sports Related
Every year we have doves lay eggs on the pergola outside the back door, however the bloody things have laid too early this year and the babies have frozen to death overnight. Does anyone have any ideas how to dispose. It doesnt seem humane to just put the nest in the garden waste or the dustbin.
Do you think they should be buried or just disposed of? Iv got to remove the nest, I cant just leave them up there!

  • Remove the carcasses. Best - and greenest -way to get rid of them is on the compost. Leave the doves' nest, as the nesting pair should be able to produce offspring there again.
