OK not Charlton related but having spent four years at Keele Uni (89-93) this bloke was, unlike Stuwall, a genuine legend. I don't think any club apart from Stoke can lay claim to having a kit man like this. At the time we all dismissed him as a clown with, ahem, "learning difficulties" - shame on us. He was the salt. He always used to bang on about being mates with footballers up and down the country. Turned out he was telling the truth. I only knew one other Charlton fan at Keele at the time. No Millwall supporters though. Strange that.
