Those of you who remember my cousin, Paul Curtis, playing for us may be interested to know that his son, Joe, will join Pompey's academy in the summer.

After playing for Ketteing & Corby Paul ran the Northampton Town academy for several years. He is currently Sports development Officer for Corby Council.

    Remember his goal in a 5-2 win at home against Cambridge. I captured the moment on my disk camera and still have the photo.

    Didn't we inexplicably field him up front against Palace late in the season when they had to win to stay up?

    I remember him scoring a winner at Fulham.

    That gave us our 1st away win in 18 months!!!!!

    The team around that time was really bloody awful.

    I reckon it would beat today's team! We finished 13th in the 2nd that season.
