Sat opposite an eighties porn actress the other week. I recognised her instantly - she looks almost the same and has aged very well. Kind of odd to sit opposite someone you had such an (ahem) 'intimate' relationship with on a few occasions as a kid )
[cite]Posted By: Off_it[/cite]Sat opposite "Statto" on a train once - and he certainly fits into the "strange" category.
Who was the "actress" Leroy? Any good work?
Donna Ambrose. Sometimes goes by the name of 'Danica'. Softcore stuff mainly - all the 80s top-shelf park-porn type jazz rags (Googled her when I got home to make sure I was (ermmm....) 'remembering' her correctly - she's still doing stuff today I think, which isn't bad considering she must be in her late forties. I still would.
Also, on a VERY slightly related note, I sat opposite Micky Stewart a few months ago.
Have just Googled Donna Ambrose - definitely has a familiar look to her. Bit of a "Jackie Brown" thing going on there too. Suppose it would be a silly question to ask how it was you noticed her, what with those things hanging off the front of her!
LOL. I think I got away with the fact that I spent pretty much the entire journey staring directly at her chest (had sunglasses on). She's definitely still a good-looking woman, and does have a tiny bit of Pam Grier about her (though not that much - if Pam Grier sat down opposite me I would have had to move for fear I'd embarrass myself.)
BTW - is that the Lamb in Bloomsbury in your pic? If it is, I spent many a drunken night in there years ago...
is she the inspiration behind the name Leroy? You must be quite a "fan" if so......
Anyway back on topic, I was on the same train as the Manchester United team earlier this season when they were on their way to the Cottage before they got beaten by Fulham. I thought they would have flown, or at the least got a coach, but no, they were all there in their tracksuits getting off the train at Euston. was quite a surreal sight

You're either a youngster, or not been a fan that long.
Since I'm so f***ing old I can't bend over without making that 'huunnghhh' sound that all old gits do, I won't call you a 'plastic'... as his heyday (LOL) was nearly thirty years ago now...

The younger option, though I have still been a season ticket holder for 12 years! I like to think I have a sound knowledge of things from before my time, obviously Mr Ambrose the First had never come to my attention before. I'm presuming he was better than Darren then....
Used to catch the bus into Nottingham and, in it each morning, was the strange sight of a young Notts County player in his kit with a track suit top. He hopped off at Meadow Lane every day to catch the minibus to wherever they train.
Police yesterday launching the troublesome kids onto the train at Southampton and then closing the doors - about 25 then all got off at the next stop (Fareham ?)
Sat opposite Frank Harper, (Football Factory, This is England etc)
on the overland train from London Bridge to Charing X.
He's not as big/fat as I imagined from his films.

He lives in Barnehurst, believe it or not. And so does Neil Maskell. They drink in the Red Barn.

Didn't realise he'd done top shelf work. Fair play.
