Virgin and Sky Boxes

stupid question from a stupid bloke................those top boxes once you have stuff taped on it can you unplug them

then like go round to another house bloke it in to a TV and watch then go back and just plug it at home again

its all black magic to be or will it bugger up the whole system

If you mean take your box over to someone houses and use it then no as they wont have either a Sky Dish or Cable Arial input.

But you dont need the dish surely, if you have already got the programme saved to the box's hard drive?

in my simple mind thats what i thought is in not like an external hard drive thingy just worried in case once unpluuged from wall it mucks it up
