Guru from gang starr has passed away aged just 43

best remembered for gang star and his jazzmatazz albums

    Yeah, heard that on 6 music yesterday, tragic, really liked his stuff, he was more popular in England than the US, big shame, big loss to the industry.

    O man was a massive fan of Gangstarr and have a couple of their albums still sad day indeed :-(

    Yeah - it was yesterday. I was only listening to the first Gangstarr album last week. Brutal to go at that age

    What a shame - he was very talented. I loved Gang Starr (one of the best acts of that era) and have about six of their albums if I remember rightly. Moment of Truth was my favourite - it is truly superb and I have bought it for others as a present before.
