I was reading that he said he wants to fulfill his contract at the saints. Lets face it he will never walk unless there is lots of money for him, if he didn't walk from us after all the crap he delivered then he will never walk.
I suspect that his contract with saints is less beneficial than the one he had with us. Whislt he was their choice they did not need him as much as we perceived we did. Rumours are that the owners do not like him and he will be off in the summer, although I suspect that he will be there at least during the first half of the season, subject to results.
As the OP said..Let's face it... Owners/Directors etc may not like him, fans may not like him. But in general players do seem to.
He did very well at Reading and West Ham and is doing an excellent job at Soton.
He didn't do well with us. To me that says more about our club than it does about Pardew.
