  • I got Airman's one from Labour last night.

One question Rick, was it coincidence that Colin Cameron answered the door when the photo for the leaflet was taken?!!

    Very interesting!

I also received a useful booklet regarding the mayoral elections, where the big parties have either claimed they want to stay in control or that they're the only party who can take the seat, and they'll freeze council tax for one year, whoopie doo!. The smaller parties have bucked the trend and listed what they actually intend to do! Including one who wants to scrap the role once he gets it! The BNP candidate listed 3 things, which being the mayor won't give her the powers to do.

    boring eh?
  • do we think more leaflets is good or bad?

does it show a will to help / desire to win? Or does it show desperation?
  • 13 yes 13 naffing Labour leaflets and now two visits taking the piss next one is wraped in a brick and going back through the Eltham Labour partys window.

PS wonder whose paying for it all ?
  • The Labour Party.
Thats why they ask for and people donate to them.
  • Green 5
    Labour 3
Trade Unionist and Socialist Party 1
    Tory None
  • One from each of the main parties plus Greens and BNP. Reigate has been Tory since time began so none of them try very hard around here. Even the sitting MP went on holiday to Qatar last week for a break, probably needed a rest after paying back the three grand expenses he owed!

not Unite then they aint paying for it ?

phoned them up 2 complain was polite with the MP and very polite on Monday (Mum was there !!) but in truth one more and its going back personaly. Thing is i was going to Vote English Democrat but now with the twonk Balls saying "vote tactically"i will and vote Tory ( sorry Dad) to get the arse out "Clive who ?"
  • Come on now GH. 13 leaflets may be annoying but it's all for a good cause; raising awareness of what a party stands for, whether you agree with it or not. It doesn't happen every year either!

Now those bloody takeaway menu leaflets are another thing.

Been no public meetings or any canvassing in Bexley Village.....
Surprissed as there used to be a couple of public meetings a question and answer session type of affair.
Been very low key so far...
