What a bunch of tw*ts how can they moan that Blackpool stole it from them when half the teams round the world sang it a hell of a long time before them.

[cite]Posted By: Outraged Nigel[/cite]There's no place for them to be nicking our songs telling us we've won nothing. Remind them of the Division 1 title in 1994. ZDF winners at Wembley 1991. Playoff Division 1 winners 1997 and Coca Cola Championship 2004!
[cite]Posted By: Intelligent Nigel[/cite] its coz the northeners r so thick they cant even think ov there own songs EAGLESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!
[cite]Posted By: Incorrect Nigel[/cite]Ireland started it, but palace brought it to England, therefore blackpool fuck off
So an average away attendance of 18,304 - impressive, though when you see Doncaster's was only 359 less; not so impressive. I expect 37,000 at Hillsborough helped pushed you above Doncaster.
More importantly is.....
1) What is your average home attendance?
2) How many Palace fans travelled to each of those games?
Edit: Got it now. What are the stats of away fans? And if those stats are true why are Newcastle so high up despite having the largest home crowd by some margin?
Can we get back the original subject please - which was, rather appropriately, taking the pee out of them for hanging around the gents toilets for a glimpse of Shaun Derry's ole fella.
[quote][cite]Posted By: rocking robin[/cite]Why do you lot seem obsessed with attendences ? It dont mean nothing ,Its whats in your heart that matters . Watching the palace game i thought after all the things the players overcame they were superb and fully deserved the point to stay up . Are they really your rivals ?[/quote]
Trust me, this lot obsess so much over attendances it's laughable.
Addicked, home support just under 15,000. Away support, not sure what our average would be. Baring in mind 20 of our away games are up North, I suspect not great.
Make of that what you will, the atmosphere this season since administration has been fantastic. From what I've seen at The Valley, it's still a library with the vocal home fans sitting ridiculously far from the Jimmy Seed Stand.

I think St Pauli were the forerunners, Celtic were also the first British club on the British Isles to sing it I think.
