    Meanwhile, in North Herts, Labour gains a creditable third place as David Kirkman polls 8,291 votes. That's almost as many as the crowd on 5th Dec 1992.

    Well, in my constituency we had someone from the Reduce Tax On Beer Party. He got 153 votes. I must admit my pencil-holding hand seemed starngley drawn towards putting an x next to his name!
