1-1 then a win by the odd goal at the Valley

Aggregate total: 3-2 or 2-1 Charlton... very very tight

Im thinking a 1-1 draw in the 1st leg, followed by a charlton 1-0 at the valley

I can't see this one. I've been pretty unimpressed by Swindon when I've seen them. I think Austin and Paynter are massively over rated, can't see them ever scoring at this rate again. Our defense is looking very impressive now we have a full back who is able to do the basics and tuck in to support Dailly and the erratic Sodje. If you hang off Swindon they can pass it really nicely around and get chances in the channels, but I just can't see it with Borrowdaleand Sam/ Richardson on the other side.

So if it was me I'd pack the midfield and bring Reid in on the left with Bailey behind Burton. Having said that as always is my want I'll prob be massively wrong hmmmmm.

I am scared that a lot of Addicks seem to think this is a foregone conclusion and is just a warm up before meeting Millwall.

Swindon are a good team and have 2 excellent strikers. I seem to recall a good centre half aswell. As always with Danny Wilson's teams they are organised and will play the passing game.

0-0 would be a good result Friday but, and it's a big but, Swindon's attacking partnership is very very good so I'd like us to get at least 1

I'm going for a draw and hope we can nick it on Monday

PS - I am expecting them to try to get-at Sam Sodje as they know he is potentially volatile. He really needs to keep his nerve this time around.

Can't see the formation changing now. We kind of played that away at Southampton, but Bailey played deeper making it a flat five across the midfield, and we desperately needed another striker on. If Bailey will play there, maybe, but can't see us trying something new like that on a play off game. Wouldn't be surprised if Forster starts with Burton.

Yeah I keep reading people talking about the final, I think we'll probably have two close games.

Will be interesting to see if Llera keeps his place. Not sure if Sodje will come straight back in.

I really enjoy the first post.

I'm heading to the first leg on my own, as a sign of tru commitment to the cause.

I will sing my heart out and i hope all of us do. I believe we can do this.

Remember the days of glory, remember the days we went to swindon and sang our charlton hearts out.
    Wembley is in our grasp.

His name is in the lights, so Semedo to score. 1-1 is my prediction. Won't make the second leg too comfortable.

as much as i have found new love for semedo he has more chance of scoring an own goal than an actual goal ... he has the worse shot i've ever seen

That's why his name will be in lights. 12/1 anytime scorer with William Hill. Top tip right there. ;-)

Betfair seem certain it'll be 1-1 or 2-1 either direction. Me too.

I've gone for (and i'll be happy with) a 1-1 draw. Think we can beat them at home on current form. I'd go with Forster to partner Burton up front, simply because a Swindon fan said on here the other day that he always scores against them.

with Parky saying he'd be happy with a 0-0 and then a 1-0 on Monday I just hope we don't go there in a negative frame of mind. If we do I can see a 2-0 or even 3-0 defeat leaving us too much to do at The Valley. In all the Championship play off games the away teams have been very positive and we need to be too on Friday otherwise I fear we will leave ourselves too much to do.

Since Millwall our away results have been:

    1-1
    1-0
    0-1
    1-1
    2-0

So i don't think Parky is about to go all out attack. This first leg will be about containment, get at least a draw then finish them off at home. With away goals not counting double there's no need to be overly attacking

That away end looks nice, there must be better stands in the conference.
