Set Pieces!!!

Is it just me fed up of our full backs taking everything without having any real quality??? Borrowdale taking our free-kicks, oh come on, awful!

Maybe if they stayed back defending we wouldn't of conceded that 2nd goal tonight, what a joke to have only one player back!

    Fair point i agree when did Borrowdale ever become a set piece taker??

    So many corners, and Borrowdale has had plenty of practise, it's been him and Richardson for a while. Unfortunately I don't think it's only down to them, I don't think we have many targets to aim for. Sam
    Sodje, Akpo when he's on, very occasionally someone else.

    Then go short and try something else, no good keep whipping them in for the keeper to come claim, someone was saying on here about why our fans weren't roaring when we got a corner, i wonder why.

    I don't recall us scoring from a single free kick this season. Why is Bailey not taking them? at least he can hit the target.

    Goals from free kicks that spring to mind - Bailey vs Barnet, Llera vs Oldham.

    Every set piece we had it seemed to go in the same place. He can hit the ball well but i would personally have Bailey on set pieces.

    Think we have been cursed from set pieces for years though, wouldn't surprise me if we are the team that has scored the least from corners in the past 10 years, can remember my dad saying to me back in the glorydays, 'We never score from corners' He still says it now.

    Well it's true to say I never get overly exited when we win a corner. If Llera gets a start on monday then we do have someone who has dead ball ability.
