Why the hell would we want a Nike kit anyway? Are Nike any better than Macron? They are bigger, certainly, but having worked in a specialist football shirt shop, I can assure you the materials aren't any better. Also, there are so many Nike kits out there, the chances of getting a 'catalogue' kit are very high indeed, which means that every nike team with a red kit would have the same kit as us. Our Macron kit is unique, no other professional team has the same kit as us in those colours, and therefore we have an identity. Look at the stuff that Palarse get in their 'kit votes' they do, the same templates have been used for about 3 seasons now!0

Looking unlikely that it will make a pool-side appearance for me!I know we're historically late in coming out with kits and that's understandable given that for the last two seasons we have had a change in sponsor and then manufacturer but given how it's fairly widely known that it's white and has been for a while and that there is no new home shirt this year... would it really have hurt to push it out as early as possible this year? Surely having it out in the next couple of weeks would put a few more quid in the coffers asap and there isn't exactly a lot going on for the website team to get excited about. There will probably be a good reason why there hasn't been any news but on the face of it it seems a bit strange to me.0
