Not sure about this appointment, lack of experience (has he even been a player/coach). Also only a 12 month deal which is a little short for a manager. Would have thought they'd give him a 2 year deal as may take some time for him to get used to the job and make his mark. Unless there is a serious overhaul of players, I struggle to see them anywhere above lower mid table.

Player-manager at Oldham. Relegation struggle I reckon. Teams like Exeter and Tranmere aren't going to be any worse than last year, and Notts County and Bournemouth have a good chance of midtable. I thought Oldham might have been in trouble anyway, but with their manager also being their attacking threat (and I don't think he was effective at Leeds last season), I'm even less convinced.
