did ITV really just interview the inter and italy legend in the build up to the England algeria game and not realise who he was.

In case you missed it ITV were speaking to foriegn journos about England and the euro 68 winner and 70 world cup finalist was in the Italian office.

    Just seen this comment.Not surprised at all as English Football was completely isolated to other leagues during his era.Brian Glanville would have recognized him.I doubt wether a lot more would have.How many would now that Sandro Mazzola's father died in the Superga air crash that wiped out the great Torino team that had ten players in the Italian
    national team.
