Which player would you be?

Right. we've reached the sharp end of the World Cup now so we've seen enough of the players to make this work.

Of those currently in SA and ignoring the fact that they are International players and we are/were a bunch of amatuer cloggers -

1.Which player would you say matches your own playing style/position?
2.Which of them would you most like to play like if you could?
3.Which is the that your teamates would reckon is actually most like you (and therefore nearer the truth)?

For me as a c/h or defensive midfielder in me yoof -

1. Gilberto Silva (slow as you like but always seems to be getting a foot in and breaking up the oppo's moves)
2. Alonso (quality, got the lot that bloke)
3. They'd all say Jamie Carragher prob :-(

  • As a rightback mine would be as follows:

    1. Sergio Ramos - Good going forward but slightly suspect at defending
    2. Philip Lahm - Complete right back. Good defensively, great crosser, quick.
    3. Jonas Guiterrez - Once again good going forward but crap defending, so shouldnt really be playing right back.
  • 1. Lukas Podolski - fast, not a bad shot, can play on the wing but prefers to play up front, never stops running
    2. David Villa
    3. A fast Emile Heskey - can play up front and on the wing, but not very well
