Parky - Wagstaff close to new deal

CHARLTON are close to agreeing a deal to keep winger Scott Wagstaff at the club.

The 20-year-old is out of contract but returned to training with the Addicks last week and is keen to stay at The Valley.

“We’re close to agreeing a deal with Scott,” said manager Phil Parkinson. “We’d like to keep him.”
Good news, hopefully Basey and if we're lucky Dailly to follow.

    Pleased about this, although I think Waggy is not yet ready for the first team on a regular basis from the start, there is a lot of potential there. He has the right attitide and still relatively inexperienced.

    I know it is on another thread, but IMHO it would also be worth trying Waggy through the middle.
