Will we forever rue the day that we forced Seed out ?

I think the past few decades have been to some extent enjoyable at times but it doesn't beat having top flight football at The Valley week-in, week-out in front of 40,000+ crowds and I wonder when are we going to get it back ?

Will we forever rue the day we forced the Romans out? That's the big question.

I think the real question is what if Blair was still PM?

I realise that you are being facetious in the light of the recent Curbishley thread but we did steadily decline after Seed arguably culminating in near extiction in 1984. It was long and drawn out with the occasional rally (63/4, 68/9, 75/6,76/7) but a combination of Gliksten's lack of investment and poor to average managers after Seed certainly didn't help. I'll put it like that!

Good idea - and surely better than naming one after Fred West.

It dont matter who you name it after, people will still call it the south stand.
Unlike The Cupboard End, that would never be called the north stand ; )

History has all ready proven that our first major decline started with the removal of Jimmy Seed.

Likewise our second major decline has proven Curbishley's removal was the start.

I just pray that the decline and utter despair over decades from after the Seed era are not matched in time by the current decline.

We just need to plant the seed again, give it some water and watch it grow. And see what fruit it produces.

Wasn't it King Harold who went to Stamford Bridge?

Harry Crippps was always "H" or "'Arry Boy".
Just a boy, never a king.

And Millwall had a player called George Jacks...... , when he got a second booking in the match, the Sunday paper headline was, "George Jacks off!".

Actually, we thought they were all winkers.
