My only memory of Mcleod is that goal he scored against WBA away when we lost 4-2.

That and when he came on as a sub for the last 20 minutes in a game and won 2 penalties

Good news for both parties. Glad to see Parky been given a real opportunity to build his own team. A few more pieces of quality and things will be looking very good indeed but the striker signings will be absolutely crucial!

Wish the bloke well...he obviously just lost his way....but glad he has gone :-)
  • Never looked a footballer to me, the number of times he got himself in good goal scoring positions and when the ball was delivered his body shape was all wrong. Couple this with his well documented attitude problems, to be sent back from loan at Millwall tells its own story, then this is the best outcome for the club as I am sure they have previously tried to off load him on numerous occasions, either by direct transfer or PX.

Such a shame as he promised so much. For the best though, his Charlton career was finished long ago.

Danny....he promised feck all and delivered the same. Perfect reflection of Pardews stint in charge.

unbeleivable waste of millions of pounds...

we would have been better off sending him on a chinese language course and giving him 2k bucks a day..

The last few comments say it all really.

It's tragic that Pardew paid over a million for this waste of space and we got nothing for him due to his rubbish attitude; he thought he was a lot better than he actually was. It's obvious that it's seen as a better option to get rid rather than allow him to mess up the vibes in the dressing room and I can see the logic in that, it just a shame we had to write so much cash....but we've got used to doing that over the past few years!

    Good riddance to bad rubbish.
  • Absolutely blinding news. Delighted. Cheerio Mclown.

Be interesting to see where he ends up - think I will put a couple of quid on whoever it is to be relegated as they won't be scoring many with him upfront.

haha. Still seems to have a decent reputation. Similar level to Dickson really, who many on that site weren't convinced about.
They're not the only club with fans considering him
