I was just curious to know if me and my son are going to be the only Charlton fans going to the game on Wednesday? ( it's only 5 miles away from me).

Oggy Red another new ground .Not for me went some 3 or 4 seasons ago when Kinsella was reserve team manager.Charlton won that afternoon think 4-0.did not stop raining the whole day. Some of the faces playing in that match Simon Walton,Wagstaff.Arter and Walker.

I see we're sending a Charlton XI to Bedford.

Do the Club insiders have any idea of the likely squad? Happy to watch the younger players, some of which I haven't seen before, but any insight into possible trialists or fringe first-teamers would be appreciated.

Nothing "inside" but Parky said the players who didn't get 70 mins v kettering would get plenty of playing time in this game.

Maybe Thorvaldson will be available. Fortune should get a kick as well. maybe Gough, the young keeper, will start or another unknown keeper.

This will be good test whoever we put out as Bedford are really up for this one. They are no mugs and i expect them to give us a good game. They narrowly lost to Luton at the weekend . I do hope we play quite a few of the first team because only living down the road i do know that Bedford will have a decent crowd and will be expecting a couple of recognisable names.
