    over to you Henry!
  • I would say after 10 years in the business that there is no one song that every member of an audience likes, each to their own and all that but my number 1 for popularity if played at the right time of the night is

"I Found Lovin" - Fatback Band

Surely S Club 7, Don't Stop Movin' gets a better reaction than that? From kids parties to Ibiza clubs, from the Venue to my nan's 85th party, it's an anthem that makes everybody move to the rhythm that's inside, they don't stop moving to the funky funky beat.

I was talking about proper music.

Novelty songs with hand movements dont count, kids parties dont do them.

Not a hip hop fan at all but the tune to summertime is top drawer.

Candi Staton - You got the love

    what a tune.

It's reaching overplay for me, the Florence and the Machine version, which is so similar that I don't see much difference

    It's good, but no.

I'll have a listen to Enjoy the Silence to remind myself, but I think that's the only one standing from this page

Just watched it on Youtube - not bad but not a winner
  • Read the very first post, please, people. It's not hard. It's not just a chance to list songs you like. Well, it is, but there's another important bit.

It may not be a winner, but Enjoy the Silence is not a loser yet

(Someone said they hate the Verve, which rules out Bittersweet Symphony, by the way)
  • No one will ever win this one lol

Longest serving number one so gotta be popular if any chance lol

Everything I do, I do it for you - Bryan Adams

Might I respectfully suggest then that you don't bother putting it on shuffle in the first place and just go straight to the song...?!

I know.......I got fed up and just wanted to get 4 superb songs up, 2 of which a lot of people may not have heard before and end up loving like me.

    This thread needed some soul.
