    Andy Marshall played for Villa Reserves for the first part of the season and then got injured and did not play again and was not offered a new contract.

    Met him at my football clubs end of season presentation where he handed out all the trophies to the five youth teams we run. He was excellent on the night, a thoroughly nice chap :)

    From the Bromley match thread it sound like he did quite well. An experienced keeper would probably be ideal for us, and only last season he was with a good Prem side.

    He impressed last night, without having a chance to make any really eye-catching saves. Just nice to see a commanding figure in there with bags of experience. That's absolutely not a slight on Elliot who has his own presence - I just feel uneasy at the thought of a younger, smaller keeper being thrown in a la Lee Harmsworth at Maine Rd.
