Just got back from Bromley. Held Palace's first team to a 0-0 draw. Be afraid!
I'll be there tomorrow with my Charlton/Bromley flag as made by Northstandsteve so keep a look out!

I'll be there. My only friendly this year. Hope to see Bauza perform and maybe one or two additional trialists...have we really got any money for Parky to spend now!

And beat Gillingham and Daggers to boot. Going very well at the moment.

  • Bromley are looking the best I've ever seen them. Are playing some good stuff ATM, although tonight was more about palace not having a striker (we're lucky we have Akpo compared to Calvin Andrew).

Was trying to think of a team i can expect tomorrow night. I presume if Stav and McCormack recover they will get a game, maybe a triallist keeper (I saw Marshall mentioned), plus our new multiple million signing which we will sign tomorrow with Muzza's millions :p

Bromley is always good, get along if you're anywhere near the area

    How do you get there?

    Which boozer is everyone using?

    What's the parking like?

    Are the locals all chavs?

Anyone staying over and making a weekend of it?

I'll be staying over as I live in nearby Hayes. Most people from Bromley are Chavs, yes.

Parking will be on the nearby streets, there's booze available at the ground. Get the 119 from Bromley South or just try sat nav providing you're not a chav yourself.

As for the game - the way Bromley are playing, we'll get beat 3-0 ....

I've heard that Petts Wood is quite nice.

Might go there some time. Does it get busy at this time of year?

Train to Bromley South from Victoria or Hayes from London Bridge
I quite like the club house.
Parking, don't know, probably a side street you can use.
    Yes.
    No.

Petts Wood is no where near Bromley, you can't stay there!

Just phoned the Petts Wood Tourist Information office.

Apparently there are occasional coach excursions to Bromley. 'Theatre, shopping, dinner' package.

I might book for a week.

You can also visit W G Grace's grave and explore the local woodland.
  • Get into the upstairs bar, some cracking tart with huge baps serving burgers....and some other gorgeous woman in her mid-20's was organising everything up there as well.

OK, maybe not an actual office ... but check this out:
