    like a bowling green, always looks superb at the start of the season and to be fair, last season apart when the weather was awful, it's generally one of the best pitches around I think.

    SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to Saturday now. Don't like to wish my life away BUT come on Saturday!!

    Hopefully we can play some carpet football now (on the floor) this season and none of that down-the-middle anti-football we saw last season, and the season before, and the season before that!!

    i was told that parky as seen with paddy in pic 2 takes a very keen interest in the pitch so hopefully some good passing football to come

    well done Paddy and his team - we may be in the third tier but the stadium and pitch are definitely Premiership quality

    Looking at Picture 2, the scoreboard looks like an old school blackboard (is that un-PC?)

    Being that it's out of commission, wouldn't it be fun to see a guy have to run up and down a ladder with a huge stick of chalk marking up the scores!
