2 appeals per game, can only be used in the cases of goals ruled out, and sending offs/tackles

Can we take the case further to the High Court please, they have proper Judges there who also don't know anything about football?

It seemed harsh, we appealed and we lost.

It doesn't just happen to us or any more to us than anyone else. Move on.

The FA are a bunch of duffers and buffons. You only have to look at how they completely mismanaged the Capello situation and the England team generally to see what a ridiculous organisation they are.

It is clear from the replay that a yellow was appropriate. People would have more respect for them if they were accountable for their decisions, explained them or admitted they were wrong occassionally.

At least one of the game he is suspended for is the Shrewsbury game and we will have him back for the Huddersfield game, which is an important one.

I really do hate the FA. Not just because of this Semedo descision but just down to the whole image of 'old gits with suits, smoking cigars in a board room and drinking whiskey'.
I just think that the way football is run in this country is going rapidly downhill and that is clear from the state of our national team.

As I was saying.... a reasonable decision at the time and a pointless appeal. Think ourselves lucky it's just two games in reality.

  • Question is...if semedo was the recipient of the tackle and not the pepetrator would those who were adamant that it wasn't worth a yellow let alone a red still be as strident?

The highlights are around three minutes in - in the ref's favour he was excellently positioned, just a few yards away and Jose missed the ball and took the player out who naturally made the most of it. Sometimes a player will get a yellow for that and sometimes a red, it was Jose's bad luck that the ref gave a red.

To be honest if they are going to send players off for challenges like that and getting 3 game bands... and the FA not even willing to own up that 1 of their officials got it wrong i'm gonna jack in going soon. The game is being ruined and i'm not going to waste my money to watch an official ruin the game....
Just had a sh!te day at work followed by delays on the trains not getting home at 9 to find out Semedo's ban unsurprisingly didnt get overturned and we went 3-0 up only to loose 3-4....happy days
  • I'm a luddite when it comes to technology in football, but the way the FA seems to make decisions like this is shockingly untransparent. Don't understand how they get away with it.

The Fa are a bunch of spineless cretinous shitehawks -a disgraceful decision on top of saturdays farcical performance from that 'referee'. The Fa should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute for employing that useless tub of lard as a referee.
