We still have to see if Walshie can back from his trip to Scotland to see his mum, Nelse is back from hols in time and Gritty isn't scouting a game that night so no smugness here.0

Weather permitting the only Charlton show in town next week.
Now we all know Peter Varney lives in Bromley but there's no chance he'll be at the meeting so you'll just have to enjoy some nostalgia, beer and mince pies for a couple of hours in the company of fellow Addicks.

Picked up some auction prizes yesterday.
A 12 x 18 framed picture of Lee scoring the last goal at the Valley.
Signed programmes from the full members final, colin walsh's testimonial and the first game back.
Hope to see them all get a good price as all the money goes back into the club.

Credit due to WWTone and Bernard Wickham who have been working overtime to make sure the guests can make it.
Garry Nelson is planning to come despite the best effort of the Spanish Air Traffic Controllers.
Colin Walsh still expects to be there and John Bumstead should manage to make the long trip from his home in Chislehurst.
And we may have another special guest dependent on the racing being cancelled.
You are just going to have to turn up and see who it is, aren't you.

I'm not involved with bromley other than popping along to their meetings, but if you don't have any plans tonight it really is worth jumping in the motor and getting over to the Bickley & Widmore CIU.
Getting 4 respected ex players together for a Q&A is a great achievement and deserves supporting. There is no charge and should provide some fascinating anecdotes from one of the most enjoyable periods in our history. If you've never been to any of these Q&As before they are completely informal and you can just stand at the bar if you want.
