When my son was very young he thought all bears were like 'Gentle Ben', all cuddly and friendly, then he saw them at the zoo one day at feeding time! Another childhood belief wrecked.

Does anyone remember a kids show on ITV back in the late seventies/early eighties with Pauline Querk and a Boy Band? Or was it all a very bad dream?

Grange Hill seemed impossibly exciting to me. The Tomorrow People seemed quite spooky.

The Young Ones too was water cooler TV before we had water coolers or even any understanding of a need of them. Not really for kids and written by a bellend, but it was something you'd never seen before.

I'm there with Robinson Crusoe. It seemed to be on every day in the Summer holidays for years.
The theme tune was great, humming it now.

How about Ace Of Wands? Also good theme tune.

Most of Gerry Anderson stuff was awesome. Stingray just about shades Thunderbirds.
