Smart is like Wade Small last season, probably not good enough for us but Parky has said he can train and try to earn a contract here or elsewhere. He is not costing anything and if we have an injury crisis then he can play.

Dunk is solid at that level. Always feel confident when someones running at him that he won't be beaten, and rarely is. Likes to get forward, fair bit of pace and has a decent left foot. Appears now to be Bromley's penalty taker. (scored the winner from the spot at Bishop's Stortford the other week)
He surely has a pro career in front of him. Which level remains to be seen. There's only so far he can improve at Blue Square South Level, just needs someone to take a punt on him.

The public school thing probably has influenced why he's not been picked up, not so much because they prefer rugby, but because they get to try lots and lots of different sports (I used to work at Tonbridge school, and you name the sport, they have a coach for it!), so perhaps the lad in question never specialised in footy early enough to get noticed.

Goals from Bally Smart and Joe Anyinsah either side of half-time secured the Addicks the bragging rights over their London rivals at Sparrows Lane, but it was the manner of the performance which pleased Kinsella most.
The first-team coach, who took charge of the game alongside development coach Damian Matthew, told the official website: "It was a good contest with a good tempo. It was played in the right manner and it was a good win.
"I thought it was a good, honest performance. All we really want from the lads is for them to put the effort in, and they did that to come away as winners.”

Former Carlisle United man Anyinsah started up front and gave a lively display, while Jonathan Fortune also played 70-plus minutes as the duo got some much-needed match practice following their arrivals at the club as free agents last week.
"Joe played very well," mused Kinsella. "He held it up well and gave us a platform to play from. Both he and Jon still need games, but they got another 70 minutes under their belts. We've got another friendly next week and the Johnstone's Paint Trophy game at Milton Keynes Dons coming up, so we'll keep tabs on them.
"Joe scored, which is always nice for a striker, and Jon got through another 70-odd minutes. He's still a work in progress."
Smart, signed on a non-contract basis, was also on target against the Eagles, slotting home Anyinsah's pass in the 43rd minute, and Kinsella stated: "We're looking at him week-in, week-out. He came up with a goal and he's got pace to burn.
"We just have to make sure we get the best out of him. The widemen want the ball all the time, they just have to be disciplined and keep their width and we'll get the ball to them."
With Ross Worner in goal, the Addicks kept a clean sheet in their first reserve-team friendly of the new season, but the entire backline, which included Bromley triallist Harrison Dunk, got a pat on the back from Kinsella.
"We try to emphasise that we need to defend from the front, and when we do that, we look like scoring," he continued. "It's when we don't that we put pressure on our back four and our midfield.
"Harrison Dunk was in from Bromley for us to have a look at, and he was excellent. He got a great cross in for the second goal and played a big unit, Calvin Andrews, fairly well because he can be a handful."
The Addicks are now hoping to organise another friendly for their second string for the same time next week, with Kinsella adding: "We were going to play Tottenham Hotspur, but they've got Champions League commitments so they've pulled out. We'll try to iron out something in the next 48 hours because these players need to be playing every week to keep ticking over."

Bromley have a very strong left side with Dunk and a winger called Dolby.

The Rugby thing was quite big 30 years ago when I was at school , I accept that it was a generalisation that i made.
On a positive he sounds like he may be promising.
