Anyone watching it on itv? David Jason is playing a Charlton fan in it. Does anyone know who he supports in real life, is it us?

    My guess is that he must have a soft spot for us as in Only Fools & Horses Rodney's middle name was Charlton - or we are the only football team he has ever heard of

    Sure David Jason is from North London but Charlton has had a mention is Only Fools, Alberts Memorial and even Rock and Chips.

    Only Fools was written by John Sullivan who seems to spread Football team references .

    In Citizen Smith , Wolfie Smith was a famous Fulham fan . In early Only Fools episodes there was a Palace scarf on the Banister and Del Boy's Dad supported Millwall. I think Rodney supported Chelsea despite his middle name.
