    Interesting looking back, was only Dec 2024 that a lot of people would happily have swapped Jones for Elliot after Crawley beat us.

    This appears to be a better opportunity for Rob (better than Crawley).  Carlisle should be EFL league club and have the resources to get back there. 

    He certainly knows all about the National League and if he can emulate what he did for Gateshead on both occasions I think he will take Carlisle further, leading them to promotion.
