Charlton fans worried about Peter Ridsdale can breathe a sigh of relief for now. Statement coming saying no takeover is imminent.

Won't be surprised if that's all it is, if there really are 2 or 3 interested parties then any takeover is probably a long way off.

Don't expect to hear anything worthwhile this morning. If people are after CAFC we have to go through the Due Diligence process which we all know reveals how bad things are at CAFC and then the potential buyer runs for the hills.

I hate Dan Roan. A fortnight of rumours, speculation and expectation for nothing.

Totally agree with that Largo, Whilst I was working today I wasn't able to access the web so I wondered what was unfolding and basically it all boils down to what you have said really. We have lived with this state of limbo ever since the first speculated takeover rumours emerged in May 2007 and to quote Henry, I will only believe it when it's on the OS and that seems to be a pretty good mantra to follow- and follow it I will from here on in!

[cite]Posted By: WSS[/cite]Expect a statement like this one:

    Wonderfully pre-emptive and totally accurate!

This takeover thread has failed, as expected, and its divisive nature has scuppered the potential takeover as broken on the official takeover thread.

I hope you splitters are happy.

Think about it there must still be talks because no statement on the OS saying reject Sir Sebastien of Sainbury deal for our Club. How much money would Sebastien Sainbury board have? if they took us over.

Blackburn Rovers have been bought by the Rao family from India for £23m. The trust set up by late former owner Jack Walker to own the club has sold its 99.9% holding to the newly formed company Venky's London Limited.

Seems cheap for a Premiership club

Saw last night it was £23m plus £20m worth of debt, so Blackbun are really costing them £43m.
  • Blackburn Rovers K.F.C.!
  • I suspect foul play.
