    "I'll look up as the teams line up for the start and see mates I grew up with and others I have played with on the other side of the line.

    "Not that it is in any way a grudge match for me. I'm not going into it thinking 'I must show Charlton they made a mistake letting me go'. A good part of my life has been spent with the club, happy years and many happy memories.

    "But I jumped at the chance to join the Bees and have come here to give my all for the club. I love it here. Everyone is so friendly. Charlton is just another match, a Cup game, a London Derby but, beyond that, it's just me as a committed Barnet player against my former club.

    "There was talk of a new contract at Charlton with revised terms. I agreed, but weeks went by and nothing happened and I then had a chance to go to Aberdeen to play in the Scottish Premier League.

    "I was up there for two weeks and they wanted to sign me, but the deal fell through. Suddenly I found myself without a club. I knew Mark Stimson and a friend of his told me he might be keen to sign me. I jumped at the chance ... I just wanted to get back playing football.

    "I have signed a short term deal to January and the impression has been given that I just want to put myself in the shop window with Barnet to get back to a club in a higher league. That's not the case. It was agreed on both sides on a short term deal and that we would review the situation in January.

    "Every player wants to get on and play at a higher level but I would be happy to stay here if all goes well up to the time we review the situation".

    all possession and territory to addicks, commentators saying that barnet will be different in second half as they will have the slope with them....waggy chases a ball down the right...but pulls up....he's trying to run off a potential injury....barnet attacking...semedo gives away a fk
