Elliot; 8 Looking really sharp and confident. Francis,- 6 He did ok and tried to get forward where possible. Fry,- 8 Struggled near the end but prior to that was excellent. Wish we could sign him. Dailly, - 8.5 His heading was clean as a whistle and his positional play superb. Doherty; - 8 Won just about everything in the air and tried to play the ball up to the front men rather than just whack into the channels. Wagstaff,- 6 Couple of good moments but it didn't quite happen for him. He's doing ok though. Semedo - 8 Everywhere yet again. He's getting back to last season's form. Racon - 7 Had some bright moments going forward and competed well. Jackson - 6.5 Shame about the shot...inches away. Looked slightly off the pace but still did ok and was excellent positionally. Anyinsah - 8 His movement and control were superb. So important for the team that he stays fit. Benson - 7 Lead the line really well. We missed Joe running on to his flicks 2nd half. Won loads in the air.
Abbott - 5.5 Looked very rusty but did get a bit better as time went on. Him and Benson don't compliment each other. Looks short on confidence. Reid - 6 Was a threat going forward but can't help thinking Fry looked more exposed once he was on. Maybe it was just that both sides had decided to open up and go for the win.
This was a dull match with us not pressing home our dominance as usual.

Francis, 6.5 Does give the ball away too easily sometimes Fry, 7.5 Good game for a guy with his age/experience, solid. Dailly, 7.5 Never really looked troubled Doherty; 7.5 Same as above Wagstaff, 7 Some fantastic touches, but went quiet late on. Semedo, 8 What a star. Racon, 7.5 Better than I have seen of late, but still too many touches for me. Jackson; 7.5 OK game, some good runs. Anyinsah 8 Excellent hold-up play, must have got injured to be subbed Benson 6 Not one of his better games, looks like a little boy lost sometimes.
Abbott 7 Some good ideas and strong play, but slow. Reid 7.5 Never really got going, but no doubting his committment and ability ....... Basey - Solid game probably 8/10 against a team that had won it's last 3 games scoring 8 goals !
