  • Yes Batty did I'm sure . Gord knows who against though

Err , need some old boys to answer the others , must be before my time

David Beckham is the only England player to ever score in three different World Cups. Whatever you think of him, that is very impressive in my opinion.

  • Wilkins was the Mexico WC...Morocco I think.
  • seems strange that nobody has ever been sent off against Germany/Scotland/France don't you think?
  • Wilkins v Morocco at Mexico 86.

For throwing the ball at the referee. A bit harsh, as the ref was standing where he had given a free kick and Wilkins just lobbed it to him, so they could take the free kick
  • Was Keegan sent off for a ruck with Billy Bremner against the sweaty's?
  • Was Keegan sent off for a ruck with Billy Bremner against the sweaty's?

Keegan was never sent off playing for England.
  • Alan Ball a WC qualifier I think...

And Trevor Cherry might have been against the Argies.

  • Well it was at Wembley........ in the Charity Shield Final! DOH!

And guess what happened - two of the biggest names in British football, Billy Bremner and Kevin Keegan, were sent off for scrapping.

Bremner, the hard man in Leeds' midfield, set about man-marking Keegan with a vengeance, stopping him by fair means or foul. When Keegan's fuse could take no more, he retaliated - the two men became involved in a brawl and when both were sent off, they each threw off their shirts in petulance and anger.

Both players were banned, Bremner for eight games and Keegan for three, but an outcry to punish the clubs led to nothing.
