Man Utd Away Win 1986

Hello all, new to the forum.

I wanted to ask if anyone here has the Video footage of the 1-0 away win at Old Trafford in 1986 with Mark Stuart
scoring our goal. I was only a young boy at the time but I remember my Dad writing to Charlton to try and get a
hold of a copy but to this day nobody I have spoken to as ever seen any of the footage.

Would really like a copy of this game, If anyone has any proper footage and Is happy to make me a DVD of it
lemme know and I'll chuck you a few quid.

    Welcome to Cl Gaz: personally I have never seen a video of this game or of the goal. Finch's Sports in Forest Hill did videos of the home games in those day and I have the end of season compilation but, as I say, home goals only. It is possible someone may have taped it off Match of the Day but I've not seen it on a CAFC tape/DVD. The game and the goal have been discussed previously, along with Finch's so you might find it on a 'Search' (mine doesn't work unfortunately) Good luck.

    Was there and havent seen Amos scoring on the TV.

    I didn't even see it when I was there - Stuart scored at The Stretford End and in those days we were stuck behind the other goal.

    I remember seeing it on the evening news later that day. I also remember listening to it on the radio, longing us to hang on. Of course after that we would regularly beat Man Utd at Sellout but to do it at Old Trafford was special.

    Exactly, I was there and have never liked being behind the goal because of my poor eyesight

    Yeah I'd love to be able get a copy, could check around on Man Utd forums but doubt they'll be interested in helping me, you know never know though ;)

    The club would often sell videos of special results but I don't ever remember them selling that one. It may no longer exist.
