It's clearly not for football reasons, seeing that they are one point outside the playoffs0 -
hmm very strange, they seem to like sacking managers as much as us.
Maybe a return for Brian Mac0 -
Only one win in eight. I wonder who that was against?

Apparently Reading's Thai owners are hoping to bring in Nigel Pearson, which is, ummm... interesting.2

Decent manager, stupidly short term approach by Reading

His Fulham flirtation could have speeded up the divorce .. also .. Clarke appears to be a rather stern, taciturn and inflexible sorta chap .. perhaps he's too 'old school' for a lot of owners/chairmen .. all this on the 25th anniversary of the Madejski regime .. IF he is still the man calling the shots and not just a figurehead
EDIT as @IA suggests, Pearson coming in ? .. could rejuvenate a team that started the season on fire and is now reduced to a team blowing out puffs of smoke now and again0 -
Fulham had agreed compo with Reading, now they can have him for nothing0
-
But then they are going back to a bloke who didn't want to be there.LargeAddick said:Fulham had agreed compo with Reading, now they can have him for nothing
Interesting one - personally I think.they'll pass on him now.0 -
If it's just based on football, then Pearson would be a decent choice, but I think it would be strange for Thai owners to employ him now given the reason why he's unemployed (I know he's not his son). Especially when the owners are so proud of Thailand that they've namechecked the Thai royal family in the new club song.Lincsaddick said:His Fulham flirtation could have speeded up the divorce .. also ..
