Anyone else really looking forward to this one too? Its a 1:00 kick off so i was wondering if people are still going down there on the day, or if anyone knows anywhere decent/cheap to stay friday night. Hopefully we'll have a good turnout there, coupled with a victory.

Not yet, probably in a couple of weeks as I would imagine there will be the usual restrictions on sales to start with.

Can someone tell me if ive had a shocker.....
Charlton have been allocated 1,322 seats, and these are priced £19 adults, £10 over 65s, U16s and students (with a valid NUS card). The Cherries have advised the club that U16s and students must carry proof of age and eligibility (students) on the day of the game.
Now im 16, and im still at school/sixth form (year 12). Can i get the u16/student ticket given that im still in education ( i dont have an nus card).

Not sure, they would argue that you have no way of proving it without the card.
    Call them up?

No possibility whatsoever they will check ID on the day in practice. Anyone ever seen this done?

The nearest I've seen is at Colchester where they have guys checking who comes in via the auto ticket machine. Haven't actually seen them ask for ID though. Be interesting to know what they do with borderline cases - turn a blind eye is my guess.

Just got our two tickets for this game. A little worried though, they only had us down as having the pre-requisite number of aways (five I think – Dagenham doesn’t count apparently because it hasn’t been played yet, although it will have by the time of the Bournemouth game !?!?) when they combined both season tickets together. This is a bit worrying as I know we’ve been to more than this, and both tickets should reflect that number each. Last season when the same thing happened I put it down to me not remembering to give them both CON numbers when getting our tickets, but this season I’ve made a concerted effort to ensure that I do every time I call. Do you think if I dig out as many ticket stubs as poss and take them down to the Valley one match day they would be able to stick the games they’ve missed onto our season tickets ?

Just a bit worried that we might miss out should there be a repeat of the Swindon away playoff game shenanigans last year (although that may be wishful thinking right now !).

I reckon they would if you got down there early & wasn't holding up ticket sales. You could always ring first and ask - remember to take a name if you do .

Should have waited another day and they might have sold out!!!
  • Got two for me and an old mate who now lives down there.

Looks like this one is going to be about the weekend rather than the actual game now - real shame as it would have been a corker if both sides were right in the mix for an automatic/play-off spot.
