I have recently thought about the carefree lyrics of our Our Song and how they seem at least for 1 minute before the start of every game engender that childlike spirit of optimism in my soul .Does this happen at Everton when The Z cars theme is played ? at Palace with "glad all over"? Lets face it ,it maybe quite a simple ,innocent yet uplifting tune but subliminally even, does it give that extra little feeling of esprit de corp? .Have these Lyrics percolated my Our/My being ? did they impart some unknown desire to return to our theatre of dreams when you ,most probably heard them as a kid, does that simple line sum it all up for you ? Its a simple Philosophy isnt it ?( and of course it wears off sometime about 3 minutes past 3 every other 2 weeks on a saturday afternoon )
