Has anyone actually heard of any rumours about who powell is looking at? Obviously there was the Benni Mcarthy rumour but Powell has now said no to that. We are still in a good position in the league, with games in hand and have to play the other teams around us, but the only way I can possibly see us getting anything out of this is if we bring in a good centre back, and then a creative midfielder too,although it now appears Powell is after another striker. That would mean we could only have a cb or creative midfielder. What does everyone think is more important? For me personally, has to be the centre back.

Has to be creative mid-fielder as top priority (frustrating as he could be think we've missed Lee Martin's flair). Why not move Semedo back to centre-back (as others have said) and also bring back Llera who always performs well after a lay-off (by then seems to deteriorate after a few games). Also think a decent left-back after Fry's loan ends and we can play Jenkinson at R/B.

thinking of writing to my local MP about this - surely to continue with Racon and Macormack must be contravening some sort of law. Is Airman still standing for Bexley? I know there's no chance of ever winning it in Bexley but if you do go for it in Greenwich or elsewhere you can have my vote for life if you can influence this. (either that or slip a note under CP's door)

IMO, I believe Powell last night give a clear signal that renewing Fry's loan is in doubt - especially if he needs the place to bring in another player to change things round.

People say we need a new player for this position or that position, but in my mind we need a leader driving the midfield.
That is the urgent requirement.

Everything else should revolve around that.

I thought that about Fry, Oggy, when i saw what CP said. Can see Fry going to give CP more loan options but still think Fry should have had a chance at cb.
