Memories.....A Blast From The Past

Hi.
I'm not sure why, but my braincell has gone a bit nostalgic and for some reason it seems to be remembering a game
which I think was back in the mid-late 70's. In those days I used to stand in the Covered End with all my mates from
Springfield Grove and I am remembering an opposition goalkeeper that was tormented so much that he threw a total
wobbly. There was all sorts of abuse being shouted at him....even when the ball was nowhere near he was getting alot
of stick from the 'Lads'.....If I remember correctly he was even giving the two finger salute, kicking the advertising
boards and in the end [I think] got sub'd.
Can anyone here remember that?? If so do you remember the team and score that day??

On a similar note, what happened with Tony Warner when he walked off the pitch the other day. Seemed like a few verbals were exchanged.
Guess he was getting some abuse about the time wasting, ex Milwall etc?0 -
Tony Warner was signed by Charlton as a free agent this time last year, with Elliot injured.......remember?0

He came out for second half and clapped the covered end which i thought was pretty classy of him.
Then he took abuse and the usual verbals throughout the 2nd half and gave a bit back at the end which is fair enough.
Nothing in other words.0 -
Tony Roberts (who bizarre is a coach at arsenal!) is great for giving the opposition fans some stick. I hope we get a few past him in a fortnight! Schmeichel was also entertaining.0

S'pose it could have been Nigel Batch [?] don't really know...
All I can remember is that it started when he took a goal kick...and the crowd did the usual
oooooooooaaaaaaaahhhhh......your shit........ahhhhh chant and something seemed to flip
in his head and gave the crowd a 'phuk hew' sign .............from that moment on he was
taunted , abused, shouted at, things thrown at him etc etc etc........0 -
