Bessone did 90 minutes so he'll be back for Saturday then?

a game like that and you have a trialist, what's the point in bringing him on with 15 mins to go !!!!!!!!!!

    Bessone played 90.

If no reaction, bring him back on Saturday and move Jenkinson over to the right.

Wonder who the floating triallist was?

Would expect Bessone to start Saturday which I really hope means Jenkinson at right-back.
  • I don't think it says much good that a back four of Solly - Mambo - Fortune - Bessone managed to concede 3 goals against a Palace "reserve" side featuring nobody I have ever heard of

Think Bover-Izqievdo would be the trialist.

Ruben? Meant to be very skilful but a bit lightweight.

I wonder whether Stavrinou being taken off at half time is an indication that he is in contention for Saturday? I've not seen him play so I've not strong feelings either way, frankly I'm happy for Powell to try anything at this stage.

Yes, looked very good but as you say they want to try and bulk him over over the summer.

The floating trialist was apparently Duncan Goodhew.

He was clattered in the first half and was carrying a knock, hence being taken off.

The Palace strikers were all big physical lumps, who caused untold problems for our back four. Evenish first half, but Palace were by far the better team in the second. Solly looked solid throughout and Gough did very well in the first half and was then unlucky with the penalty in the second. The Place striker did well to drag his feet to ensure falling over the keeper! Have to say, our midfield looked lightweight today unfortunately. Triallists both looked okay as did Bessone.
  • one of my friends was playing for palace reserves, played midfield, short blonde guy, very skillful

yeah, Williams - Welsh international. He's a decent player.
  • yeh jonny, i went to school with him for 5 years, nice guy too.
  • boy playing up front with Perkins is a spanish boy called Reuben signed till end of season pre CP. And yes Stav shld be given a chance can only be as bad as we have or surprise us and be better than we have!
