This came on HBO last night. Made by David Simon who also made The Wire and Generation Kill. Based in post-hurricane New Orleans. Was pretty good, music was excellent. Anyone caught this yet? If not, consider this a recommendation.
Yeah I've seen all of the ones shown on Sky Atlantic. Quite good but the plot is very slow and only starting to pick up. Blue Brothers dives straight in to the action but has some seriously bad acting!
Yea saw it on the internet when it came out in the states, really good. The guy who plays Miles (always forget his real name) is quality. Plus solid characters like Bunk and Freeman from the Wire, you can't really go wrong.
P.s, Never seen/heard so many musical performances in a drama before, loved 'em tho.
Really good show, although I must admit to needing subtitles at certain parts. It's apparently a very accurate account of several of the issues that troubled New Orleans, post Katrina.
Fran from the Corner it is. Music is absolutely amazing. Loving it so far. It maybe slow, but its quality, unlike some of the new stuff on Sky Atlantic....Blue Bloods sucks ass.
