Hey guys, I'm gonna travel over from Ireland next season for a few games and I'm just wondering what are the best seats in the house at The Valley??

That's great news. I guess what's best depends on what you want. If you want noise and singing then North Upper, probably blocks H or J. If you want a quieter more relaxed laid back approach to the match then either the East or West stands. If you want to take kids - North East corner. If you want to get close to the players as they are coming & going - NW Corner. If you want a place that's semi-lively but not full of adolescents - try North Upper, maybe block M. And if you want the chance to see yourself on tele, try North Lower centre-front.
  • It's excellent news!! ha ha. Cannot wait! Cheers man, still dono what kinda seat i want, just excited about going.. what would be the best view wise?

Having sat in all of the stands this season, I prefer the North West Quadrant. Quite a good view...

Near the front of the West Upper by the half way line will have the best view IMO.

Or West Lower, from about Row K back to Row S.

The visitors managers seat is usually the happiest place to be.

East Blocks D and E, rows M-Z. Right on the half way line, excellent view of the whole pitch.

However as said above, if you want noise atmosphere- North Upper Blocks J and H.

This. Being that bit higher up than the West lower makes a big difference to what you can see.

thought this was gonna be a thread about the new slot on Soccer AM......thought someone at the top of the block of flats behind the SE corner was gonna write in
