    Agreed.

No one has been outstanding. Semedo seems to care more than anyone else out there loves the club and has played almost every game.

Don't think I can vote for anyone. No one has stood out for me.

Then surely it should be Elliot, as he's been a fan all his life. Could say Wagstaff cares just as much as well.

Semedo - most definitely with honourable mention to JJ.

Of course was really just making the point that Semedo shouldn't simply win it because he apparently cares more than any other player.

Will I be able to find someone in the East Stand to hand my vote to?

Past 4 seasons no-one has been there and my missing vote could have been the crucial vote!

The Statbank for last season had 1. Semedo 2. Dailly 3. Bailey, and i think that was a fair reflection of the season.

This year sadly i don't think it is, as unless something dramatic happens its looking like a shoot-out between Dailly, Elliot and Racon.

From that, i think Racon is the only one of the three that should be in consideration, with Jackson IMO. If Semedo goes on to have a very strong finish to the season i would include him with the other two.

  • Jose for me too.

And the answer to your question, BRE is a resounding YES.

We're hoping for a minimum of 20 people to collect votes before the Huddersfield and Rochdale games . At least 3 will be stationed through the East Stand turnstiles , probably positioned between the gate and the Jackpot ticket sellers. There will also be 3 at the other end of the East Stand concourse for those entering via Lansdowne Mews.

There will be something on the OS/bulletin before 16th April re the way to cast your vote. If you are a season ticket holder, you can complete the relevant form at the back of your s t booklet and hand it over or you can just give the name of your chosen player to the person with a clipboard....No voting on the OS this time, I'm afraid.

I'm now off to make all those sausages.....

    Fanny,

I will volunteer my son and nephews to go around the Lib club collecting ST voting slips if that helps.

What would the option be in the Lib for non-ST holders even though they are plastic JCL glory boys who don't really deserve a vote : - )

Could we have a vote first on whether we adopt an AV system?

We had a guy come to us for little / no money and score a dozen or more goals from midfield, before getting injured.

He needs to be our new Captain next year, if we want to succeed.

If he doesn't win POTY this season it will be an injustice.
  • Thanks for that offer, Henry. I'll talk to Ian W tomorrow on the Soton trip and sort something out for the 15th.
  • Ooops ! Meant 16th - we get home from Tenareef on the 15th !

Semedo hasn't done himself any harm with what happened Saturday. Perhaps he does deserve it?
