It's shrouded in mystery, but in recent years it has been used to describe how the two clubs jointly carve up the commercial oppertunities in Scotland (see their joint sponsorship deals etc) - the Old Firm. Other theories include that they are the two teams that are always there at the top of the league.

So it is DFS we have to blame / thank ( delete as appropriate ) not Depeche Mode or even the Saturdays.

Forget that it is one of the Old Firm I just enjoyed watching how the Celtic fans celebrated with this song .

We hate the Millwall approach of noone likes us and it seems to me that this song would fit in well at the Valley along with the Bouncers . As I said before it would probably work better at an away game so let's try it at Daggers ( if we win ).

There is a precident . In the 70's and 80's Celtic's Grand old team to play for was a regular song at away games .

I agree with FTR lets think of more interesting songs like we used to in the 70's and 80's rather than the boring Inscest song.

It was a derogatory team used a 100 years ago because they had the most power in Scottish football, back when they were playing in front of 120k and the clubs in England were lucky to get 12k.

I have to say some of dittys rangers and celtic come out with our classics,the ha ha ha ha one the celtic sang to the rangers was a beauty.

There's nothing anti-Rangers about it at all, it's just a shite song, so will fit in well with the rest of our repertoire!

You get a few Saltires in a Rangers crowd, which is always good to see and they have one on the back of the shirt. It's very rare to see one in the Celtic end.

Just realised this is the song/tune in the constant DFS adverts. They were played constantly before xmas and are still on tv.

Quite catchy though.
